Role Overview

As an Client and Project Manager, you will be instrumental in nurturing our partnerships with Vietnam’s leading telecommunication companies and financial institutions. Your expertise in data analytics, credit risk, business management and your ability to forge strong relationships will ensure our credit data solutions are seamlessly integrated and provide maximum value to our clients.

  • Client Engagement & Onboarding: Actively engage with potential and existing clients to illustrate the value and benefits of our credit scoring services. Use your persuasive communication skills to encourage client uptake and continued use of our services.
  • Negotiation & Documentation: Serve as a pivotal liaison among Data Nest, telecommunications partners, and financial institutions during the negotiation of Price and Service contract documents. Your role involves streamlining the legal review process, reducing the time spent on back-and-forth negotiations, and ensuring that all parties reach mutual agreement efficiently.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with departments across multiple organizations to preemptively address potential contractual hurdles, employing your problem-solving skills to negotiate terms that satisfy all parties’ requirements and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Negotiation (30%): Engage with clients to promote and implement our credit scoring services, navigating complex negotiations and managing legal documentation processes efficiently.
  • Project Coordination & Management (30%): Coordinate internal project teams, including IT Development, Data Science, Telco, clients and external partners. Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met, adapting agile methodologies to suit customized client needs.
  • Customized Solutions Development (30%): Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand client needs, contributing to the development of customized and innovative credit scoring solutions.
  • Persuasion & Implementation (10%): Persuade and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, facilitating collaboration and swift resolution of impediments to keep projects moving forward.

Soft Skills and Experience

  • Proven Project Management Skills: Strong background in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, adept at using project management tools and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients, facilitating negotiations and resolving conflicts.
  • Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to strategize, plan, and execute projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.
  • Adaptable & Collaborative: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Financial Services Experience: Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in risk management, fintech, or digital financial services, is highly desirable.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Project Management Software Mastery: Demonstrated fluency in using Jira and other project management tools to track project timelines, milestones, and person-in-charge Experience in setting up workflows, dashboards, and reporting within these tools is essential.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly:
    • Word: Proficiency in creating, formatting, and managing documents.
    • Excel: Expertise in data analysis, manipulation, and visualization using formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
    • PowerPoint: Ability to craft compelling presentations that can clearly communicate project plans, status updates, and results to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration Tools: Experience with collaboration and communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams) to facilitate seamless interaction within and across teams.
  • Adaptability to New Technologies: A quick learner with the ability to adapt to new project management tools and software as required by specific projects or client needs.
  • Experience with any additional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum Master) is a plus, indicating a deep understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools or platforms is a plus.
