Data Nest at Singapore Fintech Festival 2025

From November 12–14, 2025, Data Nest participated in the Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) – the world’s largest fintech event. This year, our delegation included members of the Board of Directors (BOD) and the Data team. For Data Nest, SFF is more than just a conference; it is a journey to broaden our perspective, learn from global trends, and deepen our connection with the international fintech ecosystem.

During the trip, Viet Vu – Head of Data – shared that the scale and diversity of participating companies left a strong impression on him:
“From major corporations to small startups with only a few people, each has its own unique approach. When speaking with fintech companies working with data similar to ours, I noticed they use multiple types of scores throughout the lending journey. That’s a perspective worth considering for our future product direction.”
Viet also highlighted what he wants to apply immediately after returning:
“Many small companies have diverse solution suites and are trusted by banks and financial institutions. If Data Nest develops a full range of solutions, our collaboration opportunities will expand significantly.”

From the product perspective, Bui Tu Anh – Product Owner – brought home valuable insights from sessions on lending platforms, decision engines, and security:
“I saw many platforms capable of integrating with credit bureaus, tax data, and alternative credit scores to enable more comprehensive credit decisions. This is also an approach Data Nest is exploring. Listening to experts helped me connect previous knowledge into a clearer overall picture.”

Alongside the team’s reflections, a BOD representative emphasized the strategic importance of investing in international exposure for our people:
“This reflects our continuous evolution as a company, aligned with our commitment to aggressively expand new products and services. We aim to transform data into a productive resource that brings real value to society and to individuals. Sending our people out into the world is one way to cultivate that mindset.”

What the entire team felt strongly was the sense of inspiration — not only for product development but also for their own personal growth. For them, each trip like SFF is an opportunity to learn, expand their network, stay ahead of the trends, and see a bigger picture of the industry.
